Enforces codes and ordinances that have been adopted by the City Council to ensure minimum life/safety standards for the citizens of the City of Bloomington.
Provides information services to: City Council, commissions, boards & committees, all City departments and City citizens.
The Community Development area of PACE's Code Enforcement Division provides for the acquisition and disposition of property, garbage and refuse complaints, existing residence occupancy code, loans for rehabilitation of homes, housing deficiencies, and landlord/tenant relations.
To create an environment where all forms of artistic expression are appreciated, encouraged and seen as a contribution to the quality of life in our community.
Information on various permits issued, utility locates and curb cuts.
This department handles payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, investments, special assessment and purchasing.
Protecting life and property; minimizing the impacts of fire, medical emergencies, and other natural or man-made disasters.
To provide the City staff a safe and well maintained fleet to support all departments and to monitor processes and methods to provide the best services available.
The Human Resources department is responsible for the hiring of City employees.  Current job postings and applications are available from this department.
Provide health education, information, and referral services for financially needy individuals.
The Legal Department of the City of Bloomington consists of three attorneys and two support staff personnel who provide legal services and clerical support which assist the elected and appointed officials of the City in the discharge of their official duties.
Creating Community and Quality of Life through People, Parks and Programs.
Provides technical and professional advice in regards to city planning, zoning, subdivision planning, planned unit developments, historic preservation/rehabilitation, and sign regulation activities.
Working in partnership with the community to provide programs that prevent crime, reduce victimization, and improve the quality of life.

A division of the Engineering department, Traffic Engineering handles many aspects of the City of Bloomington's traffic safety concerns.
Handles all aspects of the City's water distribution system as well as water billing for City of Bloomington customers.
